- Mother Baby Center. RNs work both in labor and post-partum. Shift: 3x12 Days/Nights (0700-1930 and 1900-0730)Average Daily Census: 8 del/ day; post-partum: 15/dayYears of experience REQ: 2 years of L&D with post-partum experience needed.First-timers accepted: YesWeekend REQ: Will work every other weekendCerts REQ: BLS, NRPIs on-call REQ? NoWill clinician float within scope to meet facility needs? Will float as needed.Open to accommodating block schedule? NoLocals accepted: No - 100 mile radiusPending License accepted: YesRTO Restrictions: Ideally no more than 5 days.Guaranteed Hours: Client may cancel up to 3 shifts at any time for any assigned Aya Candidate without any penalty or obligation to pay Aya for such cancelled time. On-call hours do not count towards the guaranteed minimum hours.Special Requirements: Sterile vaginal exam experience required. Required Fetal Monitoring Skills/Experience: Use of External Fetal Monitoring, Use of Internal Fetal Monitoring, Use of IUPC (Intrauterine pressure catheter) placement and calibration, Recognition and Treatment of abnormal fetal heart rate patterns. Experience administering Pitocin (oxytocin) required. Experience Managing/Administering Epidural Anesthesia.
