Description

Job Requirements

Must have 3 to 4 year experience
Must have strong labor experience and comfortable with postpartum experience.
Graduate from an accredited school of nursing - Required.
AWHONN Fetal Monitoring must get certification within six months of employment and recertified every two years.
ACLS, AHA BLS - Required.
STABLE is strongly recommended and must have experience with newborn stabilization skills.
Current license as a Registered Nurse by the State of California.
Current NRP and hospital conscious sedation certification for all Registered Nurses in the WCU and Nursing Supervision must be initially certified within six months of employment and recertified every two years in NRP.

Description:

Primarily Nights, but on occasion Day shift may need help with coverage.
1800 - 0630 (nights).
36 or 48 hours per week are ok.
In addition to the general staff RN job description, the WCU staff RN will be responsible for the care of women from childbearing through geriatric years and infants up to 28 days of life, supervising and coordinating care with other disciplines.
This position is represented by RCHEA.
