Employment Details

Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Start Date: 3-4 weeks out
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week

Job Requirements

Experience: Minimum of 1.5 years
Certifications Required:
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
- NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale)
Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
Holiday Requirement: Work 75% of the holidays during the contract period
Floating: Clinician will float within scope to meet facility needs
Local Candidates: Not accepted within 50 miles
Pending License: Accepted

Special Requirements

Flu Vaccine: Required
EPIC Experience: Required
Recent Atrium Employees: Not accepted (includes PRN and internal temp within the past year)
Recent Return Travelers: Not accepted if they ever lived locally

Patient Ratios

MS/Tele: 5-6 patients per nurse

Additional Information

On-Call Requirement: No
Block Schedule: Depends on the days blocked
RTO Restrictions: Every other holiday

Compliance and Documentation

Driver’s License/State ID: Must list an address greater than 50 miles from the facility.
Residency Declaration Form: Required if using a compact license that is not NC.
Background Check: 7-year comprehensive check required within 45 days of start.
Education Verification: Required for all candidates prior to start.
Health Documents:
- Physical Exam
- TB Questionnaire
- Vaccination Records (Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Hepatitis B, Varicella)
- Drug Testing (9 Panel Drug Screen)
- Flu Seasonal Vaccination/Documentation

Competencies

Medication Test/Pharmacology Competency Exam: Required for all RNs/LVNs
Competency Exam: Required for all professions
