Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical (Orthopedics)

Location: Lawrenceburg, Tennessee
Employment Type: Travel Contract

Job Summary

Seeking a Registered Nurse with Medical Surgical specialty focusing on Orthopedics. The position involves working in a medical surgical unit with an 18-bed capacity, serving patients of all ages. The role requires experience caring for orthopedic patients and includes float responsibilities to Rehab and ICU units.

Work Details

Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36
Weekend Hours: Every other weekend / as needed
Call Requirements: As needed
Patient Ratio: 1:6
Electronic Health Record (EHR): Medhost Clinician Experience
Dress Code: Scrubs (any color); casual wear not allowed

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Tennessee
Minimum 3 years of Medical Surgical nursing experience, including experience within the last year
ACLS certification
BLS certification
PALS certification
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
Experience caring for orthopedic patients
Orthopedics experience
Float experience in Rehab
Float experience in ICU

Preferred Candidate Profile

Professional demeanor
Experience with orthopedic patient care
Ability to float to Rehab and ICU units

Additional Information

Orientation occurs biweekly on Mondays
Candidates must be located 60 miles or more from the assignment location to qualify as travel staff
