Job Opportunity: Certified Surgical Technician (CST) - Operating Room

Location

City: Paris, Texas
Setting: 154-bed hospital with Level 3 Trauma and Level 1 NICU
Facility has 11 Operating Rooms
Patient population includes pediatrics and adults (no neonates)

Position Details

Employment Type: Travel contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM
Weekly Hours: 40 hours guaranteed
Weekend hours: On call
Call requirements: Yes
Float requirements: May be asked to float to GI Lab
Patient ratio: 1:1
Surgical equipment: All surgical devices used
Dress code: Hospital-provided scrubs/surgical attire

Required Qualifications

Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) with at least 1 year of experience, including experience within the last year
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Additional Information

Orientation occurs weekly on Mondays
Facility is Joint Commission Accredited with advanced stroke and chest pain care centers
Known for top orthopedic outcomes nationally
Housing options include Airbnb and local hotels (discounts may be available)
Candidates must be located 60 miles or more from the facility to qualify as travel
