Description
Description: This position will provide support for the unit as we prepare for the Epic go-live.Cerner and Epic EMR experience required.This position has a hard start date of 5/18/2026 and end date of 7/12/2026. Prior to the end of the assignment, unit needs will be assessed, and an extension could be offered.TRAVELER WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR SELF-STUDYING TELEMETRY STRIPS UPON ACCEPTANCE AND A BASIC DYSRHYTHMIA TEST OUT WILL BE GIVEN FIRST WEEK OF ASSIGNMENT. THIS MUST BE PASSED IN ORDER TO WORK IN OUR EMERGENCY DEPARTMENT. The Emergency Room RN is responsible for identifying patient needs and priorities for care through assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation. Provides direct and indirect patient care in the Emergency Care Setting. Is able to triage safely, rapidly and accurately, every patient that enters the emergency care system. RNs coordinate care between other professional disciplines as needed.While the traveler will not be part of a regular call rotation, they may occasionally be placed on call during periods of low census. If called in, the traveler is expected to be able to respond and arrive on-site within one hour.
