Description

ON CALL:
Yes – 1–2 weekday call shifts + call weekend rotation

Weekend Requirements:
Call coverage for 2 out of 8 weekends
(Friday 5:30 PM – Monday 7:00 AM)

Certification Requirements:
ARRT (R)
BLS

Experience:
Interventional Radiology Experience – 1+ year
Peripheral Vascular Experience – Required
First‑time travelers accepted (screening required)

Specialized in:
Angiograms & Angioplasty
Atherectomy
Dialysis Catheters & Fistulagrams / Declot
Stent Placement (Peripheral & Cardiac)
Embolization & Radio‑embolization (Y90)
Nephrostomy & Biliary Tubes
Ports & Venous Access
Thoracentesis & Paracentesis
Ablations & Sclerosing Procedures

Additional Details:
• Call: 1 night per week (5:30 PM – 7:00 AM)
+ 5:30 PM Friday – 7:00 AM Monday on scheduled call weekends
• Mileage Radius: 25 miles (local candidates not accepted)
• Teaching hospital experience preferred
• Trauma Level I experience preferred
• Must be able to stand for long cases wearing lead
• Role includes scrubbing sterile cases, running Toshiba IR room,
circulating, annotating, and sending images to PACS
• EMR / Imaging: Toshiba Interventional Room, PACS
• Adults & Geriatrics | Daily Census: 10–14
• 2 IR rooms, 2 Interventional Radiologists daily, 2 techs + 1 nurse on call
