Shift: Day 5x8-Hours (07:00 - 15:00)

Pay Rate:
$2906 weekly ($41.5/hr w2 + $1246/week stipend)

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Cardiac Sonographer (Echo Tech) to join a dynamic healthcare team in Oneonta. This role focuses on performing high-quality adult echocardiography procedures in both inpatient and outpatient settings, with participation in on-call coverage.

Duties

Perform adult transthoracic echocardiograms (TTE) (inpatient & outpatient)
Conduct transesophageal echocardiography (TEE), including probe handling and HLD
Perform stress echocardiography (treadmill)
Utilize contrast and agitated saline studies
Support structural heart imaging procedures
Ensure accurate image acquisition and documentation
Collaborate with cardiologists and care teams
Participate in on-call rotation (weekends, nights, holidays)

Required Qualifications:

Associate degree (AAS) from an accredited cardiac sonography program
ARDMS (RDCS) – Adult Echo
CCI (RCS) certification
Experience with:
- Adult TTE (required)
- TEE (including probe disinfection)
- Stress Echo
- Contrast studies
Ability to respond to call within 1 hour
Experience with Epic preferred
Familiarity with structural heart procedures preferred

Additional Details

Shift: Day (7:00 AM – 3:00 PM)
On-Call:
- Every 5th weekend (Fri–Mon)
- 1 night/week
- Holiday coverage as needed
Equipment: Philips EPIQ Ultrasound System
