Unit Overview:
Patient Population e.g. “geriatric, adult, peds, etc.”: adult/geriatric
Number of Beds: 40
Patient Ratios: 1:6
Equipment: Baxter for IV pumps; Posey for our bed/chair alarms; Omnicel for our drug dispensing cabinet; Zoll for our defibrillators
EHR: Medhost
Weekend Hours: 4 weekend shifts in a 4-week schedule period
Call Requirements: NONE ( we don’t schedule them to be on-call; but we can flex their scheduled shifts to an on call shift as needed twice in their contract
No block schedule requests, 48 hour can be considered but not guaranteed
Requirements:
2YRS+ Exp Working in Specialty
2YRS+ Exp Working Only in Acute Care Setting
ACTIVE BLS (AHA)
ACTIVE ACLS (AHA)
Call Requirements: NONE ( we don’t schedule them to be on-call; but we can flex their scheduled shifts to an on call shift as needed twice in their contract
