Registered Nurse - Emergency Department
Location: Gallatin, Tennessee
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Summary
Provide quality nursing care in the Emergency Department serving all age groups. This is a 36-hour per week position with every other weekend and as-needed call and float requirements.
Unit Information
- Department: Emergency Room
- Trauma Level: Level III Trauma Center status at the facility
- Patient Population: All ages (geriatric, adult, pediatric)
- Shift Details: Not specified
- Weekend Hours: Every other weekend / as needed
- Call Requirements: As needed
- Float Requirements: As needed
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Tennessee
- Minimum 1 year of Emergency Department (ED) nursing experience within the last year
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
Additional Information
- Orientation occurs weekly on Mondays
- Dress code: Scrubs of any color; casual wear is not acceptable
- Facility is a 167-bed healthcare center with a longstanding community presence
Notes
- Candidates must be located 60 miles or more from the facility to qualify as travel staff
- Client may require additional certifications beyond those listed prior to start
