Description

Cath Lab Technologist / Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist – Full-Time

 

Sign-On Bonus: $10,000

Location: Baylor Scott & White Medical Center – Lake Pointe
6800 Scenic Drive, Rowlett, TX 75088

 

Schedule:

  • 10-hour shifts, 4 days per week
  • On-call required: 10–13 days per month (includes weekends and holidays)


    Key Responsibilities
  • Assist physicians during cardiac cath lab and EP procedures
  • Prepare procedure rooms, equipment, and sterile field
  • Monitor patient condition during procedures
  • Provide patient care, including emergency response when required
  • Educate and prepare patients for procedures
  • Support orientation and training of team members
  • Participate in quality assurance and reporting activities

  • Qualifications

  • Education

  • Associate degree
    OR
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience

  • Experience

  • Less than 1 year of experience required

  • Certifications and Licensure

  • Candidates must meet one of the following:
  • ARRT (R) – Radiography + MRT (Texas license)
    OR
  • RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist)
    OR
  • RCES (Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist)
    OR
  • CEPS (Certified Electrophysiology Specialist)
    OR
  • CCDS (Certified Cardiac Device Specialist)

  • Additional Requirements

  • ACLS certification (within 30 days of hire)
  • BLS certification (within 30 days of hire)
