Description
Mammography Technologist II – Full-Time
Sign-On Bonus: $10,000 (External Candidates Only)
Location: Baylor Medical Center – Irving, TX
Shift: Monday–Friday (Day Shift) with occasional half-day on Saturdays
Key Responsibilities
- Perform screening and diagnostic mammography procedures
- Conduct DEXA scans (bone density imaging)
- Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures
- Ensure high-quality imaging and adherence to protocols
- Maintain patient safety, comfort, and confidentiality
- Assist with advanced procedures such as stereotactic biopsies (preferred)
- Collaborate with radiologists and clinical teams
Qualifications
Education
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
Experience
- Minimum 2 years of mammography experience
Certifications and Licensure
- ARRT (R) – Radiography certification required
- ARRT (M) – Mammography certification required
- Medical Radiologic Technologist (MRT) license from Texas Medical Board required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required (or within 30 days of hire)
Preferred Skills
- Experience with stereotactic breast biopsy procedures
- Strong knowledge of breast imaging protocols
