💼 Position Overview
We are seeking experienced Registered Respiratory Therapists (RRTs) to join a fast-paced respiratory services team. This role offers exposure to a wide range of patient populations including adult, pediatric, and NICU cases.
📋 Responsibilities
- Provide respiratory care across critical care units and hospital floors
- Manage ventilators and advanced respiratory equipment
- Administer oxygen therapy and respiratory treatments
- Monitor and assess patient respiratory status
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
- Document patient care using Cerner EMR
🛠️ Equipment & Environment
- GE R860 Adult Ventilators
- Draeger Infant/Peds Ventilators
- Newport HT70 Transport Vent
- V60 Non-invasive ventilation
- Vapotherm & Comfort Flow high-flow systems
📅 Schedule & Work Details
- Rotating weekends (minimum 4 shifts per 6 weeks)
- Floating required across all units
- Large, team-based environment
👥 Patient & Staffing Details
- Total Beds: ~815–854
- Patient Ratio: 10–25
- Adult, Pediatric & NICU coverage
- High-acuity, high-volume hospital
✅ Requirements (Hard Stops)
- Active North Carolina Respiratory License
- RRT (Registered Respiratory Therapist)
- BLS (AHA), ACLS, PALS certifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience
⭐ Preferred
- NRP certification
- Critical care and ventilator experience
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced environments

- Full SSN is required at the time of submission
- Local candidates within a 50-mile radius will NOT be considered
