Job Title: Med Surg/Telemetry RN – Travel

Shift & Hours:

• Estimated 36 hours per week
• Overtime may be available

Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Med Surg/Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality patient care in a collaborative healthcare environment. The RN will utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care while working closely with interdisciplinary teams.


Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver patient care using the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation)
• Provide care to adult, geriatric, medical/surgical, and telemetry patients
• Collaborate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members
• Maintain high standards of professional nursing practice

Unit Details:

• Openings available on Medical Surgical Unit and Telemetry Unit
  
  
  Key Requirements:
• Active RN License
• Experience in Med Surg and/or Telemetry nursing
• Ability to interpret and manage telemetry patients
• Certifications Required:
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
• Technical Skills:
• Cerner EMR experience required
  
  Telemetry Requirement:
• Traveler must self-study telemetry strips upon acceptance
• A basic dysrhythmia test will be administered during the first week of assignment
• Passing this test is mandatory to continue working on the Telemetry/Med Surg unit
• On-Call Requirement:
• Not part of a regular call rotation
• May be placed on-call during low census
• Must be able to arrive within 1 hour if called in
