Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-BC) to provide care in an inpatient psychiatric setting. The provider will manage a primarily adult patient population, with some patients ranging from age 10 through geriatric.

This is a full-time, weekday-only opportunity with a consistent schedule and no noted call requirements.

Schedule

• Monday – Friday
• 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
• Full-time coverage required

Patient Population

• Ages 10 to elderly
• Majority: Adult patients
• Setting: Inpatient Behavioral Health / Psych Unit

Key Responsibilities

• Provide primary care services within an inpatient psych unit
• Manage and assess medical needs of psychiatric patients
• Collaborate with behavioral health and multidisciplinary teams
• Ensure continuity of care and appropriate documentation

Requirements

• Board Certified – Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-BC) (Required)
• Minimum 2 years of experience (Required)
• Must be eligible for independent practice in Massachusetts
• Active Massachusetts license (Required – no licensing reimbursement)

Certifications Required

• BLS – Required
• ACLS – Required
• PALS – Required
• CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention) – Required
