Primary Location: Crossroads Community Hospital Mt. Vernon, IL Dept: ICU/Nursing Admin
Shift Requirements: 12-hour nights (7p-7a)
Float Requirements: May float to ER or Med-Surg as needed. Possible cover as House Supervisor, as needed.
• Floating to ED is rare, more likely to float to MS. If needed to float to ED orientation would be provided.
• House Supervisor: Primary role would be to be a resource person to the staff here. A director will always be available for consultation if issues arise. Orientation: Would try to have them orient with current supervisor for a few shifts to go over the day to day requirements (crash cart checks, temperature checks, where and how to get additional supplies/meds). This is PREFERRED not required for the role.
On Call/Call Back Requirements: No, on-call. If low census and call-back, arrive within one hour.
Weekend/Holiday Requirements: Every other/Every other
Required Certifications to be Attached upon Submittal: IL state RN license, AHA BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS
Minimum Experience: 2 years ICU/Critical Care
Charting Experience Required: EPIC Required
Required Skillset: ICU/Critical Care
Unit Information (Bed size, Case type, Patient ratio): Licensed 7 beds / 2:1 ratio.
