Description
Position: Endoscopy / GI Lab RN
- Experience Required: Minimum 1 year in Endoscopy / GI Lab
- First-Time Travelers: Accepted
- Floating: Required
- Certifications Required: BLS, ACLS
- Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
- RTO Policy: Maximum 4 days (no holidays); anything beyond requires manager approval
Eligibility:
- Candidates from other Providence facilities (non-Swedish) are eligible after a 3-month separation
- All Swedish facilities accept active compact licenses
Unit Details:
- 30% Inpatient / 70% Outpatient
- ~10% Pediatrics population
- Large Endoscopy department with:
- 19 admit/discharge rooms
- 9 procedure rooms (including manometry room)
Preferred Experience:
- Moderate sedation
- Hands-on experience with endoscopy procedures (tech portion)
- Experience in advanced therapeutic endoscopy
Facility Overview:
- Level II Trauma, tertiary medical center
- Treats a wide range of GI conditions across all age groups (pediatrics to geriatrics)
- Mix of ambulatory and hospitalized patients
