Job Description
- Provide comprehensive pharmacy and medication management services to patients across neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult, geriatric, oncology, and obstetric populations.
- Work rotational shifts including day, evening, night, weekends, and holidays.
- Opportunity for career advancement through tier levels from Pharmacist to Advanced Practice Pharmacist.
- Advanced Practice Pharmacist roles include clinical pharmacy services for inpatient and outpatient departments, managing specialized pharmacy clinics, analyzing clinical services, and developing quality care programs.
- Responsibilities may include administration of policies, directing programs, and supervising pharmacy staff including pharmacists, technicians, assistants, and billers.
- Services are provided at the main campus and satellite clinics.
Work Schedule
- Wednesday to Tuesday on a 7 days on / 7 days off rotation with 1-hour lunches.
- Monday to Friday: 8:00 AM – 9:00 PM
- Saturday/Sunday: 8:00 AM – 7:00 PM
Required Qualifications
- Valid Pharmacist license in Arizona.
- Doctoral degree in pharmacy (PharmD) or a bachelor's degree in pharmacy from an accredited school recognized by the American Council of Pharmaceutical Education.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Pharmacist.
- Pharmacist experience within the last year.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association.
Additional Information
- Orientation occurs every 2 weeks.
- COVID and flu vaccination exemptions may be accepted upon submission of a declination form.
- Housing application must be submitted 2 weeks prior to start.
