Description
DCH - Travel: MS/Tele Cardiac 6N
Must be willing to float to other units and hospitals. Will accept 36 or 48 hours per week.
HOLIDAYS AS REQUIRED. EVERY OTHER WEEKEND.
Our Cardiac Medical Unit is a 42-bed unit concentrating on Cardiac Telemetry. Nurses in this area have a 1:6 ratio and provide unparalleled care to predominately cardiac patients requiring treatment for chest pain, shortness of breath, palpitations, or other various cardiac arrhythmias. In addition, this unit will further provide care to a variety of medical patients with pneumonia, GI issues, COPD, diabetes, and occasional stroke, as well as surgical patients. Our dedicated team of nursing and ancillary staff provides patient-centered care to support each specialized patient’s recovery with the goal of reaching optimal patient outcomes for all.
Education - Required
• Associated degree in nursing
Certifications – Required
• AHA BLS
OR RED CROSS
Licenses – Required
• Registered Nurse State of Alabama or compact license (No Temp Licenses' accepted)
• NURSYS
Experience - Required:
• 2 years experience; however, will consider 18 months of experience, working under the highest level of professional license, and must have 1 year of RECENT experience in the field of specialty.
