Shift Details

• Schedule: Day Shift – 5x8 Hours
• Timing: 08:00 AM – 04:30 PM (Mon–Fri)
• Note: May need to start early or stay late depending on departmental needs
• Weekends/On-call: Not required.
  
  
  Eligibility Criteria
• Candidate’s permanent address must be more than 100 miles from the facility to be eligible to apply

• Position

• ARRT Registered Radiation Therapist.
  
  
  Minimum Qualifications (Code 4038)
• Minimum 2 years of experience
• Associate’s Degree in Radiography
• ARRT Certification in Radiation Therapy
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
• Valid Ohio Radiation Therapy License
  
  
  Job Responsibilities
• Administer radiation therapy treatments
• Maintain daily treatment records, including dosage calculations and documentation
• Perform simulations, treatment planning, patient contouring, and dose calculations
• Manage patient schedules for both in-patient and out-patient services
• Coordinate with families and hospital staff to ensure smooth scheduling and care delivery
• Monitor patient condition daily (weight, skin reactions, overall progress, etc.)
• Assist Radiation Oncologists in brachytherapy procedures
  
  Equipment & Technology
• 3 Linear Accelerators:
  • 2 TrueBeam systems
  • 1 Halcyon system
• Treatment types include:
  • 3D Conformal Therapy
  • IMRT
  • SRS
  • SBRT
• 2 CT Simulation Scanners (one fully staffed, one used for add-ons/contrast scans)
  
  Daily Volume
• 80–90 radiation treatments per day
• 6–7 CT simulation appointments per day
