- Unit: Labor & Delivery (L&D)
- Setting: Small community hospital OB unit
๐ Assignment Details
- Start Date: 08/02/2026
- End Date: 11/01/2026
- Duration: 13 weeks (91 days)
- Type: Travel RN
- Open Positions: 1
- Local Rule: No locals (must live 50+ miles away)
โฐ Schedule
- Shift: Days (7:00 AM โ 7:00 PM)
- Schedule: 3x12s (36 hrs/week)
- Possible Hours: Up to 48 hrs/week early in contract
- Weekends: Every other weekend
- Call: None
๐ฉโโ๏ธ Role Requirements
- Specialty: Labor & Delivery / OB
- Experience:
- Minimum 2 years recent L&D experience
- Must be proficient from admission โ discharge workflow
- Strong OB triage + patient flow experience
โ ๏ธ High-Risk OB Experience Required
Must be comfortable with:
- High-risk pregnancy management
- Preterm labor
- Hypertension & diabetes in pregnancy
- VBACs
- Prenatal testing & amniocentesis
- Full labor-to-discharge care
๐ง Core Skills Required
- Full-spectrum L&D nursing (check-in โ postpartum โ discharge)
- Fetal monitoring interpretation
- Labor support & delivery care
- Postpartum assessment
- OB triage and rapid patient turnover
๐ Required Certifications
- BLS (AHA)
- AWHONN
- NRP
๐ Submission Requirements
- L&D skills checklist (within 1 year)
- 1 supervisory reference (recent)
- License verification
- Permanent address required
- RTO must be included (limit ~5 days)
- Previous travel experience preferred
