Schedule & Hours

• 🕒 Shift: 12-hour Nights
• ⏱ Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours/week
• 🚫 No on-call requirement

Position Overview

Concord Hospital is seeking a highly skilled ICU Registered Nurse (RN) for a fast-paced critical care environment. This role requires a strong, independent clinician capable of managing complex patient conditions and adapting quickly across units.

The ideal candidate will have experience in high-acuity ICU settings, with preference for those with CVICU experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide critical care nursing in ICU setting
• Monitor and manage patients with complex conditions
• Operate advanced life-support and critical care equipment
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for optimal patient outcomes
• Adapt to floating assignments across units as needed
• Maintain accurate documentation and patient assessments

Required Experience & Qualifications

• ✅ 2–3 years of ICU experience (strong candidates required if closer to 2 years)
• 🚫 First-time travelers will NOT be considered
• ✅ Experience working independently in high-acuity settings
• 📄 Active New Hampshire RN License or Compact License (required at submission)

Required Certifications

• ✅ BLS (AHA)
• ✅ ACLS

Preferred Certifications

• ⭐ TNCC
• ⭐ PALS
• ⭐ CCRN

Equipment Experience (Required)

Candidates should have experience with:

• Balloon pumps
• CRRT
• Impella devices
• ICP monitoring
• Arctic Sun / Targeted Temperature Management (TTM)
• Alaris pumps
• Rapid infuser systems

Floating Requirements

• Required to float to:
  • Emergency Department (not just ICU holds)
  • Stepdown units
  • Med-Surg (modified assignments)
  • Behavioral Health (if needed)
• May also float to nearby facilities:
  • Concord Hospital – Laconia
  • Concord Hospital – Franklin

Submission Requirements

• Updated resume highlighting ICU experience (2–3 years minimum)
• 2 recent RN supervisor/charge references (ICU specialty)
• Skills checklist matching ICU specialty
• Valid driver’s license (with matching address)
• Active RN license verification
• RTO must be included at time of submission
