Description
Job Title: Travel Occupational Therapist (OT)
Shift: Days (8-Hour Shifts)
Duration: 13 Weeks
Location: Haverhill, Massachusetts
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist (OT) to provide rehabilitative care to patients with cognitive and/or physical functional impairments. The ideal candidate will develop and implement individualized treatment plans, ensuring high-quality, patient-centered care in a LTC or Rehab setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and assess patients with cognitive and ADL functional impairments
- Develop and implement individualized plan of care
- Provide therapeutic interventions, including:
- ADL retraining
- Therapeutic activities & exercises
- Modalities
- Assistive and supportive device training
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly
- Document all care in compliance with regulatory and clinical standards
- Provide patient, family, and caregiver education
- Participate in care team meetings and interdisciplinary collaboration
- Complete discharge summaries and outcome evaluations
- Ensure accurate recording of treatment minutes and documentation
- Supervise and support OTAs, aides, and students as needed
Required Qualifications:
- Experience:
- Minimum 1 year of Occupational Therapy experience
- LTC or Rehab experience required
- License:
- Active Massachusetts OT License
