Description
Job Title: Travel Ultrasound Technologist – General
Location: Keene, New Hampshire
Facility: Cheshire Medical Center
Contract Duration: 13 Weeks, with potential for extension
Shift: 12-Hour Days (6:30 AM – 7:00 PM)
Schedule: Friday – Sunday (36 hours/week)
Job Summary
Cheshire Medical Center is seeking an experienced Ultrasound Technologist for a travel assignment in their Diagnostic Radiology department. This role requires a skilled professional capable of performing high-quality ultrasound exams across all age groups in a fast-paced clinical setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform general ultrasound procedures for patients of all age groups
- Ensure high-quality imaging while maintaining patient safety and comfort
- Accurately document procedures using EPIC EMR system
- Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare teams for diagnostic accuracy
- Maintain equipment and adhere to safety and regulatory standards
- Provide compassionate patient care and clear communication throughout procedures
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2+ years of General Ultrasound experience
- ARDMS (American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography) certification
- Active BLS certification (AHA required)
- New Hampshire Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy License (NH MIRT)
(Temporary license accepted with eligible state license – quick turnaround available) - Experience working with all patient populations (pediatric to geriatric)
- Must have own vehicle for assignment
Schedule & Requirements
- 12-hour day shifts (Friday–Sunday)
- Weekend and holiday coverage required as needed
- Local candidates within 50 miles are not eligible
