<p>Minimum Experience REQUIRED: 2 years as RN - including one solid year of stepdown/PCU experience, 1 travel assignment.<br />Charting Experience: Recent EPIC experience required (will be required to do a checkoff class)<br />Patient Population: Stepdown/PCU patient population, including drips (insulin, heparin, cardiac, etc.). Sepsis, CHF, COPD, DKA, cirrhosis, dementia. Surgical urology, abdominal, ortho.<br />Skillset:<br />Required: Tele interpretation (TRAVELERS REQUIRED TO PASS TELE TESTS), initiate/titrate insulin, heparin, cardiac drips.<br />Preferred: PIV insertion, stable home vents, chest tube/indwelling drain management, CBI, stables drips (lasix, protonix), blood product administration, continous BiPap, drain management, Neutropenic precautions. Hard worker, resilient and manages change well, social candidates. Must have strong assessment and critical thinking skills!</p>
