Vascular registry required; Echo registry preferred
5x8s Monday to Friday with 1 hour lunch. Rotating weekends (will work every 4th to 5th weekend)
Call on the weekend scheduled to work in addition to 1-2 weekdays/week

Job Specific:
1. Performs echocardiograms (including TEE & intraop. studies) and vascular studies. (EF)
2. Performs vascular studies. REGISTRY ELIGIBLE TECHNOLOGISTS MAY NOT PERFORM VASCULAR STUDIES INDEPENDENTLY, a Registered Cardiovascular Technologist possessing a RVT or RVS registry must be present in the room overseeing the exam (EF).
3. Performs stress echos, TCD’s and TCOM’s as applicable. (EF)
4. Performs EKG’s, stress tests, holter monitoring and ambulatory blood pressure monitoring. (EF)
5. Covers call as needed (EF), REGISTRY ELIGIBLE TECHNOLOGISTS MAY NOT COVER CALL for Vascular Studies.
5. Assists with clerical and reception duties. (EF)
6. Completes all documentation associated with aforementioned responsibilities. (EF)
7. Maintains continuing education. (EF)
8. Keeps all areas stocked and neat in appearance, participates in cleaning of equipment. (EF)
9. In absence of Registered Cardiovascular Technologist Supervisor, assumes his/her responsibilities. (EF)

LICENSURE / CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
Required: Basic Life Support, ARDMS (American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers) or CCI (Cardiovascular Credentialing International) Registered in Vascular Technology.
Preferred: ARDMS or CCI Registered in Echocardiography
