Description
Shift: 12-Hour Nights | 36 hours/week
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of RN experience required
- BLS & ACLS Certification required
Experience Required:
- Strong Cardiac Telemetry background
- Experience with:
- TAVR, Watchman procedures, Mitral Clips
- Heart catheterizations
- Pre-op/Post-op open heart patients (post CVICU transfer)
- Post-op CABG (greater than 3 days)
Cardiac Skills:
- Cardiac IV & PO medications
- Cardiac drips (fixed rate): Cardizem, Amiodarone, Dobutamine, Lidocaine, Milrinone, Heparin, Insulin
- Anticoagulation management
Patient Conditions:
- CHF, Chest Pain (CP), Arrhythmias
- NSTEMI, STEMI, Pulmonary Embolism (PE)
- Sepsis, Pneumonia (PNA), Stroke
- Observation patients
Additional Skills:
- TR Band usage
- Groin site management
- Identification and management of post-procedural complications
