Join a brand new 29-bed flex unit in a very travel nurse friendly facility that's designed to care for both stepdown and med-surg patients based on hospital needs. This is a great opportunity to work in a modern, high-acuity environment within a leading academic medical center.
 

Unit Highlights:

• Ratios: 3:1 (Stepdown), 6:1 (Med-Surg)
• Diverse medical patient population
• CPAP/BiPAP on floor; HiFlow & vents on stepdown (ICU manages vent changes)
• Central telemetry monitoring (Philips); no strip reading required

Responsibilities:

• Manage mixed-acuity patient assignments (3–6 patients)
• Titrate drips per provider orders (heparin, insulin, antihypertensives, antiarrhythmics, sedation, PCAs, TPN)
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality care

Requirements:

• Active RN license
• BLS & ACLS preferred
• Epic experience required
• Ability to manage stepdown and med-surg patients

Support & Staffing:

• Charge RN & House Supervisor available 24/7 (goal: free charge)
• Clinical Associates (CNAs) ~1:10 ratio
• Remote telemetry monitoring support

Dress Code:

• Royal blue and/or white scrubs
