Job Overview

• Specialty: CVICU RN
• Schedule: 3x12s (Night Shift)
• Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Start Date: ASAP (5/18)
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
• Setting: Cardiovascular ICU

What You’ll Be Doing

• Care for fresh post-op open heart patients
• Manage complex cardiac cases including:
  • CABG, valve replacements, TAVR
• Work with advanced devices:
  • Impella, IABP, CRRT (Prismax)
• Monitor:
  • Swan lines, arterial lines, chest tubes
• Titrate vasoactive drips and manage ventilated patients
• Collaborate with cardiac teams for critical care management

What They’re Looking For

• Active RN license (NJ or Compact)
• BLS, ACLS, NIHSS required
• Minimum 2+ years current CVICU experience
• Must have:
  • Fresh open heart experience OR
  • Strong device experience (Impella, IABP, CRRT)
• Comfortable in high-acuity ICU setting

Schedule & Expectations

• 3x12 night shifts
• Every other weekend + holiday rotation required
• Floating required to:
  • Other ICUs
  • PACU (ICU holds)
  • ED (ICU holds)
  • IMC units
