The CAT/CT Scan Technologist produces computerized tomographic scanner radiographs of specific areas as ordered by a physician.  These cross-sectional images provide detailed information about soft tissues, blood vessels, and bones, which are essential for accurate diagnostics.  The CAT/CT Scan Technologist obtains patient history, explains standard procedures, and addresses patient concerns. The CAT/CT Technologist also performs a variety of specialized tasks involved in the performance of CT scans. Minimum Requirements: <ul><li>High School Diploma or equivalent</li><li>One (1) year of experience as a CAT/CT Technologist preferred.</li><li>Appropriate valid state licensure in diagnostic imaging</li><li>A.R.R.T. (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) Certification, if required by state regulations or contract specifications</li><li>Current CPR if applicable</li><li>TB Questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable </li><li>Must meet all federal, state and local requirements </li><li>Must be at least 18 years of age</li></ul>
