Hours: Dayshift 7 AM to 5:30 PM, (Days discussed in interview)
Certifications: ARRT-T and BLS
State License: D.C. License is required. (Easy to Obtain)
Work Setting: Hospital Setting
Equipment: Elekta equipment experience is a Plus but not required.
Procedures: Prepares and applies ionizing radiation to the patient in accordance with the prescription and instruction of the radiation oncologist and under the general supervision of the manager and lead therapist. Operates all radiation oncology equipment related to equipment including CT simulator, linear accelerator, QA dosimeters, diode system and various computer equipment. Accurately delivers the prescribed plan course of radiation therapy according to departmental protocols and established practices and standards with minimum supervision.
