Nurse Practitioner (APN) – Pain Management | Monroe Township, NJ | $120K–$150K
Location: Monroe Township, NJ
Job Type: Full-Time
Salary: $120,000 – $150,000/year (DOE)
Position Overview
We are seeking a Pain Management Nurse Practitioner (APN) to provide patient-centered care for individuals with acute and chronic pain conditions. This role involves evaluation, diagnosis, treatment planning, and medication management in collaboration with a supervising physician.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform patient evaluations (history, exams, pain assessments)
- Diagnose and manage acute & chronic pain conditions
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Prescribe medications, including controlled substances (per NJ regulations)
- Monitor patient progress, safety, and treatment outcomes
- Maintain accurate and compliant clinical documentation
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams
Requirements
- Active New Jersey APN license
- National NP Certification (FNP or Adult-Gerontology preferred)
- DEA license & prescriptive authority
- Ability to work under a collaborative physician agreement
- Strong clinical judgment and patient care skills
