Position: RN – Labor & Delivery - LDRP

Location: Sidney, MT

Job Type: 13-Week Contract + possible extensions

Start Date: ASAP

Shift: Night Shift (3x12s, 6:45 PM – 7:00 AM)

Schedule: 3 days/week

Expected Hours: 36 hours per week

Pay range for local nurses:- $70/hour - $79/hour

Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Labor & Delivery RN (LDRP Nurse) to join a fast-paced obstetrics department at a Critical Access Hospital in Sidney, MT. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive care to patients throughout labor, delivery, postpartum, and newborn stages, ensuring high-quality and patient-centered care.

Key Responsibilities

Provide care to laboring patients, postpartum mothers, and newborns
Perform triage assessments and non-stress tests (NSTs)
Assist as a second nurse during deliveries
Manage overflow patients across LDRP units
Monitor maternal and fetal conditions and respond to complications
Collaborate with physicians, pediatricians, and interdisciplinary teams
Support patients through labor, childbirth, and postpartum recovery
Maintain accurate documentation using EPIC EMR

Required Qualifications

Active Montana or Compact State RN License (required)
Minimum 1 year of Labor & Delivery experience (must be labor-trained)
BLS (AHA)
NRP
STABLE
Fetal Monitoring (Intermediate or higher)
