SimpliFi Interviews UNIT: PROGRESSIVE UNIT Certs Required: BLS, NIH, ACLS. Experience Required: 1 year with strong broad MS exp. Epidural/PCA/Medication management, Drain/Ostomies management, chest tubes, wound care, general post-surgical recovery, post-op ortho. First-time traveler: Yes, with strong experience Charting System/Equipment: Charting: Meditech IV Pumps: Baxter General Hospital Orientation – travelers work with the clinical educator for policies, equipment, login setups, competencies, etc Every other weekend expectation The schedulers attempt to do block scheduling whenever possible There may be some weeks when they are not able to do block scheduling, and there may be even be an occasional need for a back-to-back weekend, so flexibility is important. Time-off: 7 days okay to approve, manager approval required for additional days. holiday approvals must go through management Will work 2 out of the 3 major holidays Overtime available not required Travelers are first to float Medical Surgical Brendan House – LTAC/Nursing Home patients – orientation provided Behavioral Health (formerly Pathways) is a department of Logan Health Medical Center that provides acute inpatient services for mental health and substance abuse – orientation provided ICU to take care of IMC level patients Scrub Color: Navy Blue Scrubs provided for COVID Unit NO NAIL POLISH AND NO FAKE NAILS! Free Parking in designated areas, and a shuttle. On-site testing: basic rhythm test with clinical educator Basic test, can take a second time, if needed. Patient Ratios: 1:3

I have worked with this company for 3, along with a few others, and they have been great! They seem to be very appreciative of their staff and always sending appreciative gifts to you. I can’t say much now that they have joined TotalMed, but am looking forward to see what develops.
Cons
Rates are not always the best, would be nice to have a few more eastern and southern state options, like Mississippi or North Carolina cities
