Position: Radiologic Technologist

Location: New York City, NY

Job Type: 13-Week Contract + Possible Extensions

Shift: Days | 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM

Schedule: 5 Days/Week

Expected Hours: 8 Hours per Day | 40 Hours per Week

Note:- We have roles available in Elmhurst, NY as well.

 

Pay range for Traveler Technicians : $2800 weekly gross - $3150 weekly gross

 

Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Radiologic Technologist (Rad Tech) to join our healthcare team. The Rad Tech will be responsible for performing high-quality diagnostic imaging procedures, primarily X-rays, to assist physicians in diagnosing and treating patients. The ideal candidate ensures patient safety, maintains imaging equipment, and delivers compassionate care in a fast-paced clinical environment.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform diagnostic imaging procedures (X-rays and other radiographic exams) as ordered by physicians
  • Prepare and position patients correctly to obtain accurate images
  • Operate and maintain imaging equipment safely and effectively
  • Ensure proper radiation protection measures for patients and staff
  • Review images for quality and accuracy before submitting to physicians
  • Maintain patient records and document procedures performed
  • Follow infection control and safety protocols
  • Assist patients by explaining procedures and addressing concerns
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare team members

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum 1-2 year of Radiologic Technologist experience
  • Current ARRT (R) Certification
  • Active New York State Radiologic Technologist License (NYSDOH)
  • BLS Certification (preferred)
