MRI Technologist (Travel) – 8-Week Contract | Modesto, CA
Travel MRI Technologist – 8-week contract in Modesto, CA. ARRT (MR) and California Diagnostic Radiologic Technology license required. Join a well-supported radiology team, perform MRI exams on GE Voyager equipment, and earn top-tier weekly pay while working across three local imaging sites.
Job Details
- Weekly Pay: $4,060
- Contract Length: 8 weeks
- Start Date: May 26, 2026
- End Date: July 18, 2026
- Shift: 3 x 12-hour shifts (6:45 AM – 7:15 PM)
- Schedule: Primarily Friday–Sunday coverage with flexibility for PTO
- Hours per Week: 36
- Location: Float between three sites in Modesto, CA
- Equipment: GE Voyager MRI
- Patient Volume: 18–22 patients per day
- Tech Aide Support: Yes
- Work Setting: On-site clinical imaging / radiology
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience as an MRI Technologist in a clinical or hospital setting
- Active California Diagnostic Radiologic Technology license
- Active ARRT (MR) certification
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
- Strong patient care and communication skills
Responsibilities
- Perform MRI scans and protocols using GE Voyager equipment
- Provide high-quality imaging for 18–22 patients per day
- Float between three Modesto-area sites as scheduled
- Work closely with tech aides and radiology staff to maintain workflow
- Ensure patient safety, comfort, and proper positioning
- Follow all facility protocols and maintain accurate documentation
