Requirements
- CMP (Certified Medical Physicist – Therapy) through the American Board of Radiology (ABR)
- Minimum 3 years of post-residency experience
- Experience delivering radiation therapy using photons, HDR, LDR, Eclipse planning software, and SRS
Key Responsibilities & Skills
- Strong oncology background
- Perform quality assurance (QA) on equipment including daily, weekly, and monthly machine checks
- Deliver standard and complex treatment planning techniques including HDR, LDR, SRS, and SBRT
- Conduct radiation surveys of treatment rooms
- Calibrate therapy machines such as Varian TrueBeam linear accelerators
- Measure therapy beam data for treatment planning and verify instruments against national standards
- Familiarity with image-guided radiation therapy, IT systems, chart checks, and QA protocols
- Strong communication and collaboration skills within interdisciplinary teams

- Oncology Information System: ARIA
- Treatment Planning: Eclipse
- Additional Tools: MIM, Radformation
- CT Simulator: Philips Big Bore
- Linear Accelerators: Varian TrueBeam
- Experience with Philips CT imaging systems
Patient Population
- Adult oncology patients (all cancer types)
