Shift: Night – 3x12 Hour (18:45 – 07:15)
Weekly Hours: 36 hours
 

Job Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) – Rehab to join an acute inpatient rehabilitation hospital setting. The RN will provide comprehensive care to patients recovering from illness, injury, or surgery, focusing on restoring functional ability and improving quality of life.This role requires a compassionate, motivated professional who thrives in a collaborative environment and is willing to step into a charge nurse role when needed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care in an acute inpatient rehabilitation setting
• Perform patient assessments and develop individualized care plans
• Monitor patient progress and adjust care as needed
• Assist patients with recovery from neurological, orthopedic, and medical conditions
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Educate patients and families on rehabilitation goals and discharge planning
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including PT, OT, and physicians
• Maintain accurate documentation using Cerner EMR
• Ensure compliance with infection control and patient safety standards
• Step into charge nurse responsibilities when required

Required Qualifications:

• Active RN License (NM or Compact)
• Minimum 1.5 years of inpatient hospital or rehab experience
• Current BLS Certification – Required
• COVID-19 Vaccine: Required + Booster (Medical/Religious exemptions only)
