Shift: Day Shift (5x8s) | 40 hours/week (8:00 AM – 4:30 PM)
Start Date: 05/18/2026
Duration: 13 weeks (possible extension)
Pay: ~$2,781/week gross (blended)

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced PACU Registered Nurse to provide high-quality post-anesthesia care to patients recovering from surgical procedures. This role requires strong clinical judgment, the ability to monitor patients transitioning from anesthesia, and experience in both Phase I and Phase II recovery settings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor patients recovering from anesthesia (Phase I & II)
• Perform airway management and hemodynamic stabilization
• Assess pain levels and administer medications appropriately
• Manage IV lines, ports, and post-operative care protocols
• Interpret vital signs, cardiac rhythms, and lab values
• Provide patient education and discharge instructions
• Collaborate with surgical and anesthesia teams
• Document all care using EPIC EMR

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Active RN license (CA or compact if applicable)
• Minimum 1 year PACU experience
• ACLS, BLS, PALS required
• Experience with EPIC EMR (Required)
• ICU or ED background preferred
• Strong experience with:
  • Airway management & ventilated patients
  • IV therapy / medication administration
  • Post-operative recovery protocols

Preferred Experience:

• Phase I & II PACU
• Surgical specialties (ortho, general, GI, etc.)
• Conscious sedation monitoring
