Description
Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) – Med Surg / PCU
Location: Ne London, New Hampshire
Job Type: 13 Weeks Contract
Job Summary:
The Registered Nurse (RN) provides comprehensive patient care in a Med Surg/PCU setting by integrating collaborative care planning and implementing nursing standards. This role requires strong clinical skills, charge experience, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment while ensuring quality patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct patient care in Med Surg and PCU/Stepdown units
- Develop and implement individualized care plans
- Monitor patient conditions and respond to changes appropriately
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders
- Utilize EPIC EMR for accurate documentation
- Perform charge nurse duties as required
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure continuity of care
- Maintain patient safety and adhere to infection control standards
Requirements:
- Minimum 3+ years of current Med Surg experience – Required
- Minimum 2+ years of PCU/Stepdown experience – Required
- Charge Nurse experience – Required
- EPIC EMR experience – Highly Preferred
- Previous travel experience – Preferred
- Must have own transportation
Certifications:
- BLS (AHA) – Required
- ACLS (AHA) – Required
Licensure:
- Active New Hampshire RN License or Compact License – Required
