About the Role

As an EP Lab Registered Nurse, you will support the Electrophysiology Device Division by managing cardiac device workflows, assisting with outpatient cardiology care, and triaging patient needs in a fast-paced ambulatory setting.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Support outpatient Electrophysiology (EP) clinic operations
  • Manage cardiac device data using MURJ remote monitoring system
  • Triage and assess urgent cardiac symptoms and patient concerns
  • Assist with stress testing supervision and monitoring
  • Support providers and MA team with cardiology consults and follow-ups
  • Administer and manage cardiac medications including antiarrhythmics, antihypertensives, dobutamine, and emergency medications
  • Perform and maintain IV therapy (initiation and maintenance)
  • Ensure adherence to radiation and laser safety protocols
  • Document patient care accurately using Epic EMR
  • Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary cardiology and EP teams 

 

Work Schedule

  • Monday–Friday, Day Shift (8:30 AM – 5:00 PM)
  • No weekends
  • No on-call requirements
  • Outpatient ambulatory cardiology clinic 

 

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 1 year of RN experience
  • Strong experience in Electrophysiology (EP Lab nursing and cardiac device management – REQUIRED)
  • Cardiology background preferred
  • Current BLS (AHA) certification
  • Proficiency with Epic EMR preferred
  • Ability to independently manage outpatient cardiac patients in a high-volume setting 

 

Additional Requirement

  • Full SSN is required at the time of submission
