Travel Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) – North Texas (Sherman & Gainesville Area)
8-Week Contract (possible extension) | Night Shift | 3x12s | 36 Hours/Week | Up to $2,016/Week

Connected Health Care, a leading recruitment and staffing firm specializing in healthcare placements nationwide, is currently seeking a Travel Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) for an exciting opportunity in North Texas, near Sherman and Gainesville. This position is based in a hospital setting focused on delivering high-quality, patient-centered emergency care.

Position Details

  • Position: Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN)
  • Location: North Texas (Sherman & Gainesville area)
  • Setting: Hospital / Emergency Department
  • Schedule: Night Shift
  • Hours: 3x12-hour shifts (36 hours guaranteed weekly)
  • Contract Length: 8 Weeks (with potential extension)
  • Compensation: Up to $2,016 per week

Job Responsibilities

  • Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Department
  • Perform triage and prioritize patient care based on severity
  • Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders
  • Monitor patient conditions and respond to changes appropriately
  • Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and interdisciplinary teams
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in EMR systems
  • Educate patients and families on treatment plans and discharge instructions
  • Ensure compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and safety standards

Education & Certification Requirements

  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) License – Texas or Compact State
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) – Required
  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) – Required
  • PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) – Required
  • TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) – Required
  • Minimum 1–2 years of recent ER experience required
  • Strong clinical, critical thinking, and communication skills
