Location: Wrangell, AK 99929
Shift: M-F 
Shift Length: 8.5 hr shifts with 1 hr Lunch
Guaranteed Hours: 37.5  hours per week
Duration: 4 weeks

Position Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) specializing in Pediatrics to join our outpatient clinic team. The ideal candidate will have at least 2+ years of recent experience in a pediatric outpatient or clinic setting and will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to infants, children, and adolescents. Key responsibilities include assisting physicians during examinations, administering medications and immunizations, monitoring patient health, maintaining accurate medical records, and educating patients and families on treatment plans and preventive care. Roles & Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care to pediatric patients in an outpatient clinic setting.
• Assist physicians during examinations, procedures, and treatments.
• Administer medications, vaccines, and monitor patient vitals.
• Maintain accurate patient records and update electronic health records (EHR).
• Educate patients and families on care plans, medications, and follow-up instructions.

Skills:

• Strong pediatric patient care and clinical assessment skills
• Knowledge of outpatient clinic workflows and procedures
• Proficiency in administering medications and immunizations
• Familiarity with Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems
• Excellent communication and patient/family education skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
• Attention to detail and strong documentation skills
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred

• Valid NY State LPN license
• BLS Certified through AHA
