Description
Job Opportunity: X-Ray Tech
Location: Akron, Ohio
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 15 weeks
Work Schedule
- Day shift, 3 shifts per week
- 12-hour shifts (9:00 AM – 9:30 PM)
- Total 36 hours per week
Required Qualifications
- Valid Radiology Technologist license in Ohio
- Minimum of 1 year of Radiology Technologist experience within the last year
- Experience as an X-Ray Technician
Onboarding & Training
- Completion of facility-specific online training modules prior to start (must be done on a computer using Google Chrome; video must be watched before test)
- Modules typically take multiple days and must be completed before clearance to start
- Badge photo required prior to start
- Core HIPAA and safety training required annually
- Facility may require re-completion of modules if there is a break in employment greater than 6 months
Additional Notes
- Fingerprinting results must be on file prior to contract extension start; facility approval required if pending
- Name in onboarding system must match legal name exactly
- Physical exam does not need annual update if currently on assignment without break
- Latex allergy notification required if applicable to ensure availability of latex-free gloves
