Description

Registered Nurse (RN) - Operating Room

Location: Neptune, New Jersey
Employment Type: Clinical
Shift: 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM (10 hours/day, 40 hours/week)
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Summary

Provide nursing care to patients undergoing surgical procedures in the operating room.
Apply the nursing process including assessment, interdisciplinary treatment planning, clinical intervention, and evaluation of patient responses.
Assign and evaluate the work of non-nursing direct care providers in the operating room.
Ensure appropriate documentation reflecting patient needs and care.

Required Qualifications

Education

Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing required

Licensure & Certifications

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in New Jersey
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association

Experience & Skills

Minimum of 2 years of Operating Room (OR) experience
Operating Room experience within the last year

Additional Information

No prior travel experience required
Focus on surgical patient care in the operating room setting
