Description
Job Title: Clinical Lab Technologist
Unit: Clinical Laboratory
Location: New York, NY, 10029
Shift: Night Shift (12:00 AM – 8:00 AM)
Shift Length: 7–8 hours
Weekly Hours: 35 hours per week
Duration: 13 weeks
Position Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Clinical Lab Technologist to join a fast-paced acute care laboratory setting. The ideal candidate will have at least one (1) year of clinical laboratory experience with a strong background in both chemistry and hematology. This role involves performing laboratory tests, analyzing results, and ensuring accuracy and efficiency in diagnostic services while maintaining compliance with regulatory standards.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Perform routine and complex laboratory tests in chemistry and hematology.
- Analyze specimens and ensure accuracy of test results.
- Operate and maintain laboratory equipment and instruments.
- Follow quality control procedures and safety protocols.
- Document and report results accurately in accordance with lab standards.
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of clinical laboratory procedures and testing
- Experience in chemistry and hematology required
- Attention to detail and accuracy in test analysis
- Ability to work in a fast-paced clinical environment
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities
Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year of Clinical Laboratory Technologist experience
- Valid NY State License as a Clinical Laboratory Technologist (NYSED)
- Associate’s Degree from an accredited laboratory program
- Bachelor’s Degree (Preferred)
- BLS Certification (Preferred)

- Schedule: 5 days per week
