CVOR Surgical Technologist
Location: Springfield, MA
Contract Length: 13 weeks (high likelihood of extension)
Schedule
- Shift: 3x12s, Days
- Hours: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
- Hours per Week: 36
- Days: Exact days discussed during interview
On-Call Requirements:
- Approximately 4 on-call shifts per month
- Possible one weekend per month
- Possible holiday call
Position Overview:
This role supports the inpatient Operating Room at a Level I Trauma Center offering a wide range of surgical services. The department includes General OR and CVOR, with procedures spanning open cardiac, vascular, and endovascular (wires and stents) cases.
The candidate must be CVOR-trained and able to assist when needed, while also functioning in general OR cases.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of Level I hospital experience
- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) – required
- CVOR training – required
- Vascular experience – required
- BLS certification valid by start date
- Traveler must have an active address 90+ miles from the facility
