Description

A Medical Surgical ICU Nurse provides 24/7, high-acuity care to critically ill patients recovering from major surgeries or experiencing acute medical conditions. Key responsibilities include advanced patient assessment, managing ventilators and life-support, continuous hemodynamic monitoring, medication titration, complex wound care, and coordinating care with multidisciplinary teams.   

 

 

Education and Experience: 

  • Min. of 3 years of MICU Experience required within the last 6 months.
  • Medical Surgical Nursing experience preferred. 

 

Certification/Licensure: 

  • Current licensure with New Jersey State Board of Nursing as required by law.
  • AHA BLS
  • AHA ACLS 
  • NIHSS
