Description
ED RN – Rotating Nights/Evenings (36H/48H, EOW)
Start Date: 05/18/2026
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Schedule & Shifts:
- 3x12 or 4x12 shifts (36H/48H per week)
- Rotating night/evening shifts:
- 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
- 3:00 PM – 3:30 AM
- Rotation based on department needs (primary need is night shifts)
Experience Required:
- Minimum 2 years of ED experience
- First-time travelers accepted
Licensure & Certifications:
- Active Maryland RN license
- Required: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIH
- CPI (completed during onboarding)
- Preferred: NRP, TNCC
Clinical Details:
- Patient age range: Infant to geriatric (all age groups)
- Nurse-to-patient ratio: Typically 1:4 (up to 1:5 for lower acuity)
- Patient diagnoses: Wide range, including complex and multi-system cases in a fast-paced ED
Additional Requirements:
- Every other weekend required
- Holidays required as scheduled
- Floating within specialty and to sister SRH ED facilities (Cambridge, Chestertown, Queenstown) as needed
- No pre-scheduled on-call shifts required
