Description
Job Summary
The Echo Technologist performs a full range of echocardiographic procedures, ensuring high-quality imaging and patient care. Works closely with physicians and sonographers to support accurate cardiac diagnostics and efficient workflow in the echocardiography lab.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine and complex echocardiography procedures
- Ensure high-quality imaging through proper positioning and technique
- Review and verify patient data for accuracy and completeness
- Accurately document all procedures and findings
- Assist physicians during diagnostic exams
- Maintain patient care standards and workflow efficiency
Cross-train within cardiovascular services as needed.
Required Skills & Experience
- Minimum 3 years of Echo Tech experience
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and patient flow
- Strong attention to detail and documentation
- Positive attitude with a focus on team and work environment improvement
Education - Required: Associate’s Degree in Ultrasound
- Certifications & Licensure
- RDCS (ARDMS) or CCI Certification
- BLS (AHA)
